Options:
0 - Single picture capture
1 - Continuous picture capture
2 - Start / Stop external line control
3 - GPS distance triggering

When this setting is '0', the camera takes only one picture when the shutter button is pushed, or when it receives a take picture command from the user interface or serial port.

When the value is '1', It will take pictures continuously with an interval between pictures as set by the "Auto Capture Delay" value. The capture sequence is started by pressing the trigger button, or the "Take Picture" browser interface button. A second press of either of these buttons halts the process.

When the value is '2', the camera monitors the external Run / Stop line and takes pictures continuously when the line is 0, and stops when the line is a 1. As with setting '1', the capture interface is controlled by the "Auto Capture Delay".

When the value is '3', the camera checks each GPS string it receives to see how much separation it has from the GPS fix at the last picture it took. If the value is equal to, or greater than the value in the "GPS Trg Offset" setting, a picture is automatically taken. No switch input is needed to start or stop this process, just a reliable GPS Nmea string source.
